The DIRECTIONS: Pre-Retirement Planning webinars are scheduled for April, May and June 2025 will be held on Webex. These webinars offer New York State executive branch employees' information on planning for retirement. Employees must be eligible to retire within five years. Supervisory approval is required for employees to attend webinars during their normal workday.

• State employees have the option to select which webinar days to attend, and do not need to attend consecutive days in the same month.
• To register, employees must click on the Register link next to the date they would like to attend. If you would like to attend both days, you must sign up for each day separately.  
  • Employees must use their work email address. After registering, employees will receive a confirmation email with a link to the webinar. If you do not get a confirmation email, check your SPAM.
  • Employees are encouraged to open the email and click ACCEPT.
• Important information when logging in on the day of the DIRECTIONS webinar.
  • Login from an agency computer.
  • Click on the link on your calendar between 8:30 a.m. – 8:45 a.m. to make sure you can access the webinar.
  • DO NOT open the Webex website on your browser.
