DIRECTIONS: Pre-Retirement Webinar Sessions

DIRECTIONS was developed to assist eligible New York State employees in planning for one of the most challenging and exciting periods in life - retirement. New York State offers its Executive Branch employees pre-retirement planning information through both online resources and DIRECTIONS Webinar Sessions. The Sessions, designed for employees who are at least 50 years of age and eligible to retire within five years, (most employees eligible to collect a pension at 55) provide information on planning and the benefits available to state retirees. Due to the great demand, seating is limited and employees may only attend one time in their career.

Each Session includes four webinars. Two webinars are held on Tuesday and two webinars are held on Wednesday. Employees must attend the entire Session (all four webinars). Employees who have attended a live seminar in the past are not eligible to attend a Webinar Session, as it is the exact same information, now delivered virtually.
