The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a joint labor-management program that benefits New York State employees by enhancing employee well-being, increasing productivity, and improving morale in the workplace. The EAP is funded through the collective bargaining agreements between the State of New York and the public employee unions: Civil Service Employees Association, Public Employees Federation, United University Professions, New York State Correctional Officers and Police Benevolent Association, Graduate Student Employees Union, Council 82, District Council-37, and Police Benevolent Association of New York State. The Office of Employee Relations contributes on behalf of management/confidential employees.
