Bugbee Children's Center

Bugbee Children's Center offers infant, toddler, and preschool programs, and also provides holiday, snow day, and summer care for up to 40 school age children. The Center’s licensed capacity is 168. The Center is open 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., year-round. Bugbee Children's Center offers a unique early care and educational experience to the children and the families of State employees, including SUNY Oneonta faculty and staff, and the greater Oneonta community. All State employees receive priority enrollment.

The Center creates a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and explore. The Center also collaborates with the Oneonta City School District to provide Universal Pre-K (UPK) and wrap-around care for up to 21 children.
