The SUNY Plattsburgh Child Care Center serves children and families of State employees, including SUNY Plattsburgh faculty and staff, and the community at large. All State employees receive priority enrollment. The operates a full-day program and a morning preschool program with a capacity for 72 children.
The full-day program operates Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., 12 months a year and provides developmentally appropriate experiences for children ages six weeks to five years. The Center also collaborates with the Plattsburgh City School District to provide a Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program for eligible children, who are then enrolled in the pre-kindergarten classroom. The morning preschool program operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, from September through June.
