The University at Buffalo Child Care Center (UBCCC) is a QUALITYstarsNY participating program with a 4-star rating and is also accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). The UBCCC serves children and families of State employees, including UB facility and staff, and the community at large. All State families receive priority enrollment.

The Center has the capacity to serve 220 infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in their 18 classrooms. Located on the north and south campuses, the facilities have a diverse population of children and staff. The Center is open year-round, five days a week from 7:15 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Enrollment slot options include two, three, and five days.

Child care rates are comparable to the market rates and include meals and field trips.

The mission of the UBCCC is to provide exceptional early care and education. Adult/child ratios are high, and much attention is given to developmentally appropriate activities for each age group. The UBCCC is a not-for-profit Center governed by a board of directors.
